Affectionately known as Bree, she was an inspiring force whose encouragement, creativity, and genuine support impacted the lives of many around her.



Having grown up in Logan, Utah, Bree exuded a genuine kindness and authenticity that made her creative endeavors feel personal and welcoming. She had a unique talent for transforming every event into a warm and encouraging experience. Through her Words From Within workshops and showcases, Bree fostered spaces where individuals felt appreciated, understood, and empowered to express their truths. Her presence nurtured a sense of community, connection, and creative bravery.

Breeanna’s online presence mirrored the same vibrant, heartfelt energy she exhibited in face-to-face interactions. With almost 750 posts and a loyal audience, she communicated her joys, insecurities, and artistic enthusiasm in a way that resonated profoundly with many. Those who worked with her fondly recall how she could uplift even the darkest times, provide comfort when it was most essential, and gently steer others towards discovering their own creative potential.

Her passing by suicide has caused profound sorrow among her family and the broader Utah arts community. Bree is mourned by her sister, Mackenzie Smith, as well as numerous friends, colleagues, and admirers whose lives were enriched by her kindness, her work, and her profound understanding of others.
