His departure has enveloped family, friends, colleagues, and many others whose lives he influenced in profound sorrow. Ivan was a person who spread happiness wherever he went, and the news of his death has rendered many speechless in their grief.

Raised in Creole, Louisiana, Ivan embodied the strength, warmth, and perseverance of his upbringing throughout his life. He graduated from South Cameron High School and went on to study Networking and Programming at SOWELA Technical Community College. Throughout his various journeys, Ivan displayed unwavering commitment, skill, and a sincere intention to elevate those around him.

In the fitness center, Ivan transcended the role of a personal trainer—he served as a motivator, a cheerleader, and a continuous source of positivity. His clients and fellow employees at Project Fit admired his vibrant spirit, humor, and knack for instilling confidence and capability in everyone he encountered. Outside his professional environment, he was recognized for his kindness, fidelity, and his contagious smile. Ivan had a unique talent for brightening spirits and infusing laughter into any setting.

To his family, Ivan represented even more than what was previously stated. He held the position of a beloved brother, a committed uncle, and the esteemed godfather of Parker—a relationship valued for its significance, joy, and immeasurable bond. Whether it was joyous moments or FaceTime chats, makeup sessions, or shared laughter that bridged generations, Ivan’s connection with Parker was truly special and profoundly significant. Additionally, he was a steadfast friend—someone who supported loved ones since the beginning, celebrated significant life events, and stood alongside others through tough times.
