Law enforcement reports indicate that Frost’s body was found around 7 a.m. on November 8, 2025, after officers responded to a call regarding an unresponsive person near the skate park. The responding officers quickly determined that Frost had sustained significant injuries typical of an assault, which initiated a swift criminal investigation.
An autopsy was conducted on November 13, 2025, and although the official cause and manner of death are still pending, investigators have noted that initial findings suggest Frost died as a result of injuries sustained during a physical confrontation the previous night. Authorities believe that the incident took place sometime between late afternoon and late evening on November 7.
Surveillance video collected from the vicinity shows Frost’s car leaving Condon Park at about 10 p.m. that evening. The vehicle, which was later confirmed to be Frost’s, was found deserted several miles away in rural Nevada County near the intersection of McCourtney Road and Indian Springs Road. It remains unclear whether Frost drove the vehicle himself or if someone else was driving it after the incident.
Currently, no suspects have been named or taken into custody. The Grass Valley Police are exploring numerous leads and are reviewing video evidence, testimonials from witnesses, and forensic data. Due to the complexities of the situation and the various locations involved, the FBI Evidence Response Team is providing support in collecting and analyzing evidence.
Investigators suspect that people who were present in or near Condon Park on November 7 may have witnessed or overheard something important, particularly during the time following 3 p.m. Detectives are also looking for anyone who may possess dashcam or security footage from the area of McCourtney and Indian Springs from November 7 to November 8, as the discovery of Frost’s vehicle is considered a significant aspect of the investigation.
Authorities have stressed that even seemingly trivial details could play an essential role in solving the homicide.
