Porshia Williams, RICHMOND, Virginia, Obituary Death Announcement: 34-Year-Old Porshia Williams Recognized in Hull Street Road Murder Inquiry

 RICHMOND, Va. — The authorities have revealed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot on Tuesday evening on Hull Street Road as 34-year-old Porshia Williams from Richmond.

The Richmond Police Department reported that officers were sent to the 2700 block of Hull Street Road around 8:57 p.m. in response to alerts about a domestic issue. The situation was later escalated to a shooting incident.

When the police arrived, they found Williams inside a building, not breathing. She was declared dead at the scene due to what appeared to be a gunshot wound, according to police statements.

The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office is tasked with establishing the official cause and method of death.

Investigation efforts are currently underway by detectives in the Major Crimes Unit of the Richmond Police Department, who are trying to find a male individual believed to have been at the location during the shooting.
