PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A young individual’s life was tragically ended early Friday morning due to a deadly pedestrian accident on Bladensburg Road. The Prince George’s County Police Department has confirmed that the individual has been named as 20-year-old Chester Brandon from Gaithersburg.
Investigators report that the incident happened on October 31, 2025, around 12:40 a.m. Officers responded to the 3300 block of Bladensburg Road, where they discovered Brandon lying on the street with serious injuries. Despite attempts to revive him, he was declared deceased at the site.
Initial investigations suggest that a southbound vehicle on Bladensburg Road hit Brandon. The driver involved stopped immediately and remained at the location. Officials confirmed that the driver did not sustain any injuries and is cooperating with the active investigation.
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is currently working to establish the factors that contributed to the accident. It remains uncertain whether speed, light conditions, or other influences were involved.
