 Carlisle, Arkansas – The Arkansas State Police (ASP) are currently looking into a deadly shooting that took place in the early hours of Sunday in Carlisle, following a call for help from the Carlisle Police Department (CPD). Cooney faces charges including First-Degree Murder, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle, and Illegal Possession of a Firearm by Certain Individuals. He is currently detained at the Lonoke County Detention Center under a bond set at $150,000 and is expected to appear in court on January 12, 2026.
