Jeffrey M Wright, Anita Lam-Wright Obituary, Passing; Authorities confirm identity in Nyack murder-suicide

 Jeffrey M Wright, Anita Lam-Wright Obituary, Death; – The Orangetown Police have officially disclosed the names of the individuals involved in a suspected murder-suicide incident in Nyack as a couple in their 50s.

The individuals who lost their lives, Jeffrey M. Wright, who was 52 years old, and Anita Lam-Wright, aged 55, were discovered at their home located on North Midland Avenue on Saturday, November 1.

As per police accounts, the Rockland County REACT Team, made up of local SWAT personnel, responded to the scene after a family member reported a prior domestic situation involving the couple.

Officers from Rockland County React gained access to the residence after multiple failed attempts to reach the occupants and found the bodies of Wright and Lam-Wright, both with gunshot injuries.

“Considering the wounds and the evidence found at the site,” remarked Police Captain Michael Shannon in a press announcement on Monday, it seemed that Wright had shot his wife, Lam-Wright, fatally with a shotgun that was found at the scene.

“Afterward, he relocated to another area of the home and took his own life using the same weapon,” Shannon further stated.
