Lareon Brown Memorial, Passing; Authorities have taken three individuals into custody following the fatal shooting of a woman and injuries to two others in Carrollton, according to police reports.

 Lareon Brown Obituary, Death; – A woman has tragically died, and two other people have been injured due to a shooting that took place early Sunday in Carrollton, according to law enforcement sources.

On Sunday afternoon, law enforcement arrested three individuals who have been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and illegal possession of a firearm during the offense. Those detained include Cyntez Worthy, 23, from Villa Rica, Zontavius Vaughn, 26, from Carrollton, and Jamine Hutchinson, 31, also from Villa Rica.

Authorities have identified the victim who lost her life as 26-year-old Lareon Brown, based on police findings.

The mugshots of the suspects have been shared by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with NEWSCHAIN. Early Sunday, the Carrollton Police Department had limited details but noted that the incident originated from a confrontation that escalated into a shooting incident.

Officers arrived at the location on 6th Street around 1:30 a.m.

According to the Carrollton Police Department, one of the two people who survived was taken to a hospital in the Atlanta region, while the other survivor was transported to an Atlanta hospital by a personal vehicle.

A police statement mentioned, "The incident is under investigation at this time, and no additional information will be provided."
