Paige Dowlin Obituary Announcement: 15-Year-Old Learner at Pequea Valley High School, Paige Dowlin, Passes Away

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — The community is grieving the tragic loss of 15-year-old Paige Dowlin, who unfortunately lost her life after a fire engulfed the RV she lived in early on Monday morning.

As reported by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, Paige, a talented and cherished student at Pequea Valley High School, died as a result of smoke inhalation and severe burns. Her death has been categorized as accidental.

Emergency services were summoned to Roamer’s Retreat Campground located on the 5000 block of Lincoln Highway in Kinzers at approximately 4 a.m. Upon arrival, first responders found the camper entirely aflame. Tragically, Paige could not escape the flames.

Her brother posted on social media that Paige was inside with her 17-year-old sister when the fire began. The older sister was able to exit the camper safely, but sadly, Paige was trapped inside.

The investigation into the fire’s cause is ongoing.

Following this heartbreaking incident, a cousin has initiated an online campaign to raise funds for funeral costs and to support the family as they cope with the immense loss of their home, possessions, and two beloved cats.

Paige will be remembered for her kind spirit, bright smile, and the love she generously extended to those around her. Her absence creates a profound emptiness in the lives of her family, friends, and the entire Pequea Valley community.

Taken from this world too soon, Paige’s legacy will continue through the love she shared and the joy she brought to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
