Shanel Greer Murder–Suicide, Akron Ohio Obituary: 45-Year-Old Shanel Greer Discovered Deceased Inside Her Residence

With deep sorrow, we express our grief over the passing of Shanel Suchalady Greer, a cherished godmother, friend, and a radiant presence to everyone in her life. Shanel's essence was filled with love, and her compassion reached far beyond her own immediate acquaintances. She truly represented what a godmother should embody—nurturing, loving, and protecting with a dedication that made her presence irreplaceable. Regrettably, Shanel’s life was abruptly ended by a tragic and senseless incident. Authorities reported that she was discovered dead at her home due to fatal gunshot wounds. Also present at the location was James Sanders, nicknamed “Bubba James,” who was also found with gunshot wounds. Both were declared dead at the scene. While this loss is beyond comprehension, we will steadfastly cling to the memories and teachings that Shanel imparted during her lifetime.
