Stephen Lomax Obituary, Death; 41-year-old Henrico individual loses life in accident on Powhite Parkway in Richmond

 Stephen Lomax Obituary, Death; – A 41-year-old individual from Henrico County has passed away following a vehicle collision on Powhite Parkway in Richmond that occurred on Saturday.

At 1:46 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, personnel from the Richmond Police Department were dispatched to the northbound side of Powhite Parkway, near the Douglasdale Road off-ramp, in response to a report of a one-car incident.

When they arrived at the scene, the officers found a wrecked automobile that had struck the guardrail located to the right of the parkway.

The motorist, recognized by law enforcement as 41-year-old Stephen Lomax from Henrico County, was pronounced dead at the location.

Authorities indicated that a female passenger in the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital, where her injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening.

The Medical Examiner's Office is responsible for establishing the cause and manner of Lomax's death. The northbound lanes of the parkway remained closed for several hours to allow for a thorough police inquiry.
