WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A tragic accident on Halloween evening has deeply affected the Warrington community. Authorities confirmed on Saturday morning that three teenagers have died, while a fourth individual is in critical condition after a collision between two vehicles on Bristol Road.
As per information from the Warrington Township Police, the incident took place late Thursday evening when a car with the four teenagers struck an SUV at the crossroad of Bristol Road. Investigators reported that the collision was not frontal but rather occurred from the side, resulting in the most significant damage being on the sedan's passenger side.
Initial reports suggest that the sedan was heading north on Bristol Road as it neared a downward slope along the narrow street. The driver is said to have lost control, leading the car to drift into the path of the SUV heading west. Tragically, three individuals in the sedan succumbed to their injuries at the location or shortly thereafter, and the fourth was taken to a hospital in Philadelphia, where they are in critical condition.
Authorities noted that the SUV's driver sustained no injuries.
Police and detectives worked overnight to confirm the identities of the victims, although one remains unidentified at this time. Further information will be shared once all relatives have been informed.
“This is a devastating and heartbreaking situation,” stated Warrington Police. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those affected during this incredibly difficult time.”
