The young boy, affectionately known as “little Zeke,” was on his way home from school when this horrific incident took place around 3:36 PM.

Despite the prompt actions of emergency responders and his quick transfer to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Zeke was unable to be saved. Officials reported that both he and the fifteen-year-old involved were using helmets at the moment of the crash. The older teenager is cooperating with law enforcement as inquiries continue.
