 A woman aged 34 was killed by gunfire late on Wednesday night after a reported dispute in South Los Angeles, as stated by law enforcement.

The incident took place around 10:31 p.m. on December 11, 2025, close to the junction of Avalon Boulevard and 113th Street.

Officers who responded to a call about gunshots arrived at the location and discovered a woman with gunshot injuries.

The deceased was recognized as Christine Johnson, who was declared dead at the site.

Authorities mentioned that Johnson was allegedly engaged in a confrontation with two men when one of them drew a gun and shot her before both suspects escaped on foot.
