Ethelyn Grubb Obituary Death Announcement: 8-Year-Old Ethelyn Grubb Tragedy in Lens Creek Road Accident

 Ethelyn Grubb, an 8-year-old child from Kanawha County, sadly passed away after a collision involving two vehicles on Lens Creek Road on December 2, causing great sorrow for her family and the local community.



The incident took place at approximately 4:53 p.m. in the 2000 block of Lens Creek Road, where a utility truck and an SUV collided head-on. The force of the crash flipped the utility vehicle and pushed the SUV into a ditch.

A motorist who happened to be passing by immediately halted and administered CPR to Ethelyn while waiting for emergency services to arrive. Despite the attempts to save her life by the first responders, she was declared dead at the location.

Officials reported that Ethelyn was a passenger in the SUV, which was being driven by her mother, who was taken to the hospital for medical attention. The driver of the utility truck was also admitted to the hospital.

Initial investigations indicate that the SUV might have moved into the opposite lane; however, authorities emphasize that the investigation into the accident is still ongoing by the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Unit.
