Jeff Perry Motorcycle Incident Russellville, AR Fatality, Memorial: Cherished Community Member Sadly Passes Away I

 The Perry family is heartbroken after learning the tragic news that Jeff Perry, aged 40, from Russellville, Arkansas, lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Sunday, December 7, 2025, due to a truck pulling in front of him. The painful echoes of Bryce’s accident have caused the family to relive an unbearable sorrow—once more pursuing answers that may never be fully uncovered.

Born on January 5, 1985, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Jeff was the child of Doug and Beth DeVorak Perry. Although he was naturally reserved, Jeff possessed a profound soul that revealed itself to those who took the effort to understand him. For many years, he remained in the background of the thriving Perry family life, but after losing Bryce, everything changed. A trip to the Sturgis motorcycle rally united Jeff and his brother-in-law in a way that deepened their relationship, which continued to strengthen in the following years. He frequently attended family events, enjoying late nights playing cards and dice with Brianna, Brayden, and the rest of the family, bringing laughter and unexpected happiness to the home.

Jeff was a self-sufficient rancher and farmer, finding contentment in the natural cycle of the earth. He raised cattle, baled hay, and led a life characterized by hard work, solitude, and Arkansas’s scenic landscapes. Whether witnessing the dawn from a deer stand or fishing in the tranquil waters of Lake Dardanelle, Jeff felt most connected to God in nature. Engaging in dirt biking, camping, and exploring backcountry roads was not merely a pastime; it was ingrained in his identity.

He exhibited loyalty, stability, and dedication to the select few he allowed into his life. His friends, including his longtime road companion Jeff “Doc” Yates, knew they could depend on him unwaveringly. Jeff was disinterested in organizations or public recognition; he preferred to live life according to his own wishes.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn and Bonnie Perry, Dwight and Dorothy DeVorak, and his dear nephew, Bryce Perry.

He is survived by his parents, Beth and Doug Perry from Bella Vista; his brothers, Chad (Jamye) Perry from Bentonville and Michael (Mandy) Perry from Gravette; his nieces and nephews—Brianna and Brayden Perry from Bentonville, Rachel Perry from Eugene, Oregon, and Faith and Caleb Perry from Gravette; along with his close friend Jeff “Doc” Yates, with whom he shared countless memories and traveled many miles.

Only a few weeks ago, the family and Jeff were thrilledly organizing their upcoming bike week trip to Daytona 2026. Now, that excitement has transformed into sorrow, disbelief, and an intense pain that words cannot adequately express. Life can be painfully brief and brutally unfair.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Humphrey Chapel. Friends are invited to greet the family starting at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Stephen Davis will lead the service. Pallbearers include Michael Perry, Chad Perry, Brayden Perry, Jeff Yates, Caleb Perry, and Jeremy DeVorak.
