Along with Berry's Honda Accord, the crashed vehicles included a 2023 Tesla Model 3 sedan, a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, a 2008 Toyota Camry, a Ford Bronco, and a Nissan Altima. The impact from the collision caused extensive damage to numerous vehicles and necessitated a significant emergency response from police, fire services, and medical teams.

Berry was pronounced dead at the site due to the injuries he sustained during the collision. Three other people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital in Las Vegas for care.
