Antonio Lancaster Taken into Custody in Virginia Following Triple Homicide Incident Near Temple Hills Banquet Hall

 Prince George’s County Police have reported the apprehension of Antonio Lancaster, age 39, in association with a tragic triple shooting that took place outside Irving’s Banquet Hall in Temple Hills, Maryland. This brutal event occurred during the early hours of Saturday, January 3, 2026, resulting in the deaths of three males and has led to heightened examination of security measures and late-night gatherings in the county.

As per law enforcement officials, the shooting transpired around 2:10 a.m. near the banquet hall situated on St. Barnabas Road. Authorities indicated that the violent altercation arose from a disagreement that ignited during a birthday celebration within the establishment. What started as a verbal conflict reportedly intensified as individuals proceeded outside into the parking area, where several weapons were drawn, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.

Officials characterized the event as a “gunfight,” emphasizing that Lancaster along with two of the deceased were actively participating in the gunfire exchange. The disordered situation led to the deaths of three men at the scene before medical personnel could render assistance.

The deceased were recognized as Pierre Davis, aged 33, from Washington, D.C., and Kevon Medley Williams, aged 26, also from Washington, D.C. Investigators suspect that Davis and Williams fatally wounded each other amid the clash. The third victim, Ronez Proctor, aged 27, from Waldorf, Maryland, was indicated by police as an unintended bystander. Proctor was reportedly trying to assist one of the injured when he was shoved to the ground and shot.

Authorities claim that Lancaster shot Proctor at close distance during the turmoil in the parking lot. Following the investigative findings, Lancaster faces specific charges in relation to Proctor’s demise, while the two men’s deaths are thought to have resulted from the mutual gunfire exchanged between them.

After the shooting incident, Lancaster vacated the area, initiating a search involving multiple agencies. On Sunday, January 4, 2026, he was found in Fairfax County, Virginia. With the aid of the U.S. Marshals Service, local law enforcement apprehended Lancaster without any issues. He is presently in custody in Virginia, awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County, Maryland.
