 Allen L. Haag, aged 64, formerly of Cranberry, departed peacefully at his residence on December 30, 2025. A lifelong inhabitant of the area, Allen embraced the joys of life's simple moments and greatly appreciated the time he spent with family and friends.

Renowned for his friendly character, sharp humor, and kind-hearted nature, Allen leaves a profound impact of love, joy, and commitment that will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Allen was deeply passionate about nature. He dedicated many hours to camping in tranquil forests, often joined by his sons and close friends, imparting lessons on the significance of patience, appreciation for the environment, and the delight of living simply.

Whether it was a weekend hunting adventure or a summer camping journey, Allen found fulfillment in sharing these moments with his nearest and dearest.

Another of Allen’s lifelong interests was his fascination with vintage automobiles. He became well-known within his community for his careful restoration of classic cars, regularly spending extensive time in his garage fine-tuning every aspect.

His commitment and skill were respected by other aficionados, and he took joy in imparting his wisdom and anecdotes about the history of each vehicle.

Family was the cornerstone of Allen’s existence. He was a loving father to his two sons, Jeremy Haag from Cranberry and Erik Terry-Haag from Hermitage, consistently providing direction, support, and unwavering love.

Allen treasured family reunions, holiday celebrations, and ordinary moments, convinced that the ties of family were life’s greatest riches.

He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Bette Jo, in 2011, with whom he created numerous treasured memories and shared a lifelong relationship grounded in love and mutual admiration.

Allen’s influence was not confined solely to his family; it reached into the broader community. A man of quiet philanthropy, he frequently backed local projects and volunteer activities, particularly the Seneca Volunteer Fire Department.

Staying true to his modest demeanor, Allen requested that there be no public ceremonies. In his honor, contributions could be directed to the Seneca Volunteer Fire Department, an organization he respected and supported throughout his life.

Allen L. Haag will be remembered as a man of principle, humor, and compassion. His legacy persists in the many lives he impacted, the family he nurtured, and the passions he fervently pursued.
