As reported by family members, Isma Aliff took his final breath at around 8:30 a.m. at his home located in Kampung Melayu Ampang. His death was due to complications linked to a stroke he experienced in December 2023. Although he initially demonstrated strength after the medical incident, his condition slowly worsened over the ensuing two years. By the last week of his life, he was completely confined to bed, which deeply troubled those who loved him.
His sister, Shamsidah Ismail, stated that the family had been vigilantly observing his health as it progressively declined. Despite their diligent efforts and constant care, his body finally fell victim to the enduring impacts of the stroke. The news of his demise rapidly circulated, leading to a flood of sympathies from fans, fellow performers, and individuals in the entertainment field who held him in high regard.
After his death, Isma Aliff's body was transported to the Kampung Melayu Ampang Mosque, where the final rites, including the washing of the body, were carried out in line with Islamic customs. Relatives, companions, and local community members came together to extend their farewell. He was later set to be interred at the Ukay Perdana Islamic Cemetery, providing a respectful goodbye to a person whose creations had delighted many.
