Matt Kline was best known as the owner and operator of Kline Honey Bee Farm, a well-loved family business recognized for producing local honey and bee-related products while building meaningful relationships with customers across Northeast Ohio. For years, he was a familiar face at the Haymaker Farmers Market, where his welcoming personality, genuine kindness, and passion for sustainable farming made him a favorite among shoppers and fellow vendors alike.

Family members shared that Matt's passing came unexpectedly, leaving his wife, children, relatives, loyal customers, and many friends mourning an unimaginable loss. Those who knew him remember a man who greeted everyone with a warm smile, offered help without hesitation, and had a remarkable ability to make strangers feel like lifelong friends.

Beyond operating the farm, Matt dedicated countless hours to caring for his bee colonies, maintaining the family property, delivering products to customers, and educating others about the importance of honeybees and local agriculture. Farming was far more than a profession—it reflected his commitment to hard work, environmental stewardship, and serving the community he loved.

Despite this heartbreaking loss, the Kline family announced that Kline Honey Bee Farm will continue operating with the support of its dedicated staff and loved ones. Family and friends will have the opportunity to pay their respects during calling hours on Thursday, July 2, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, located at 547 S. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 3, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
