 Harrison Campbell, 41, is being remembered by family and friends after his sudden passing on August 16, 2026. His death has left a profound absence among the people who knew him, particularly those who shared his love of family, friendship, adventure and the outdoors. Harrison was someone whose personality could make ordinary moments memorable, and those closest to him are now holding tightly to the stories, laughter and experiences that reflected the person he was throughout his life.

Harrison was the beloved son of Carol Campbell and the late Alex Campbell, and a cherished brother to Jake, alongside Krystal, and Caitlin, alongside Dave. His extended family, including Aunt Cathy and Uncle Steve, Uncle Jim and Caterina, Aunt Maureen and his cousins, also held an important place in his life. His friendships were equally meaningful, creating a wide circle of people who valued his warmth, humor and ability to bring energy into the moments they shared together.

Two places carried particular significance for Harrison: the family farm in Mt. Brydges and Shirrock Island on Elephant Lake near Haliburton. These locations represented more than beautiful outdoor settings. They were places where family and friends could gather, enjoy nature and create the kind of memories that remain meaningful over time. Harrison found genuine happiness outside, whether spending quiet hours on the water or embracing the excitement of activities that allowed him to experience the landscape around him.

Fishing was one of Harrison’s favorite pursuits, giving him time to enjoy nature while creating memories with people close to him. He also loved snow skiing and water skiing, revealing an adventurous personality that was always willing to embrace a new challenge. His interest in climbing and working outdoors eventually influenced his professional direction, leading him to establish his own arborist company. In that career, Harrison was able to combine practical skill with his deep appreciation for trees, heights and the natural world.

Those who knew Harrison will remember that his character extended far beyond his hobbies and professional interests. He had a distinctive twinkle in his eye and a sense of humor that could brighten the atmosphere around him. His ability to laugh, connect with people and create comfortable friendships made him someone others genuinely enjoyed having nearby. Donohue Funeral Home in London, Ontario, on August 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will follow at First-St. Andrew’s United Church on August 27 at 1 p.m., with a reception afterward at the London Club. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice are requested. Harrison’s legacy will ultimately live through the people he loved, the adventures he embraced and the laughter he brought into their lives.
