Napoleon Community Mourns Adam Rosebrock, a Mentor, Craftsman and Devoted Family Man

 Adam Jonathan Rosebrock, 47, of Napoleon, Ohio, was remembered as a natural leader, devoted family member and generous mentor whose influence reached across his profession, family, sports and community activities. Rosebrock died peacefully on September 20, 2026, at Grand Rapids Care Center. Born September 8, 1979, in Defiance, Ohio, to John and Joyce Rosebrock, he built a life that combined professional achievement with a willingness to share his time and knowledge with people around him.

A graduate of Tinora High School, Rosebrock attended the University of Toledo, where he earned a degree in civil engineering and construction management. He began his career as a surveyor before advancing to project manager and vice president at Rupp/Rosebrock Inc. His professional work included major projects involving several area school districts. Those responsibilities reflected the technical background he developed through education and years of experience in construction and project management.

Rosebrock also pursued a hands-on business of his own, founding AR Shooting Solutions. The company specialized in custom gunstocks, woodworking and firearm maintenance, allowing him to combine practical craftsmanship with an attention to detail that was especially evident in his checkering work. He sometimes completed projects for his father, adding a family connection to an area of work that required patience, precision and considerable skill. His professional life therefore extended well beyond a single career path.

Family remained at the center of Rosebrock’s life. He especially adored his nephews, Liam, Oliver and Finn Harris, and valued the time he spent with them. Games, building projects and other shared activities gave him opportunities to be present in their lives. For those closest to him, these everyday moments help provide a fuller picture of the man being remembered, showing the importance he placed on relationships rather than allowing his professional accomplishments to define his story.

Rosebrock’s interests also connected him with the outdoors and with younger members of his community. An avid hunter, dog trainer and Master Class sporting clays shooter, he was deeply involved with Henry County Pheasants Forever and its youth hunting program. He generously shared his knowledge with young and new shooters, offering experience and encouragement. That willingness to teach became another part of his reputation as someone who put others first and helped people develop confidence and skills.

Football provided another lasting connection to his community. Rosebrock’s interest in the sport began during his Tinora playing days and continued into adulthood. He enjoyed attending high school games with friends, maintaining a connection to the school and the local sports community. Alongside his professional work, family commitments and outdoor interests, those friendships and traditions formed part of the routine that made his life familiar to the people around him. They also reflected his appreciation for community and shared experiences.

Rosebrock’s funeral will be held at 11 a.m. September 25 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Okolona, Ohio, following visitation. As family, friends, students and community members gather, they will remember a man whose life crossed professional, family and community circles. His leadership, generosity and willingness to mentor others are central to the tributes surrounding his passing.
