 The community of Shreveport is in sorrow after the tragic death of 25-year-old Aundreya Griffin Anderson, who lost her life in a shooting incident on Sunday, November 2, 2025, within the Ingleside area.




As reported by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office, Aundreya was shot while located in a car with someone she knew, driving west at the junction of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway at approximately 4:15 p.m. She was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, yet despite the medical intervention, she was declared dead at 4:59 p.m.

Identification of Aundreya was made through fingerprint analysis. Her passing is recorded as the 32nd homicide in Shreveport for the year 2025 and one of 37 throughout Caddo Parish this year.

Officials indicate that the investigation is still active under the Shreveport Police Department's oversight, and an autopsy has been commissioned to ascertain the specific cause of her death.
