The accident happened around 12:11 p.m. at the junction of State Route 125 and Crane Schoolhouse Road. A preliminary report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) stated that two vehicles were involved: a 2025 Honda CBR500R motorcycle ridden by Brady Mentz and a 2019 Ford Transit van operated by 70-year-old Sandra Burr.
