Charles Devon Obituary News: Two Individuals from Bessemer Lose Their Lives in Pre-Dawn Collision on Carolina Terrace

 BESSEMER, Ala. – An unfortunate accident early Sunday morning resulted in the deaths of 50-year-old Charles Devon Lockett and 35-year-old Denterrius Deon Hill, both of whom lived in Bessemer. This fatal incident took place around 5 a.m. in the 2500 block of Carolina Terrace, as reported by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.



According to authorities, Lockett was operating the vehicle when it veered off the road, colliding with a utility pole and subsequently crashing into a tree with significant impact. Upon their arrival, first responders discovered both men were unresponsive. Despite swift attempts to provide assistance, both were declared deceased at the scene due to the extent of their injuries.

The Bessemer Police Department is conducting an inquiry to ascertain the factors that led to this tragic collision.
