The Beaumont community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 33-year-old Clarence Rosamore, who was tragically shot to death on the evening of November 7, 2025.
At approximately 7:12 in the evening, Beaumont Police were called to an apartment complex at 2317 Broadway Street following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Clarence with several gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical care and being transported to a local hospital, Clarence unfortunately did not survive his injuries.
Law enforcement identified the suspect as Eleazar Stansbury, 26, who was apprehended at the scene without any issues. After a thorough investigation and discussions with detectives, Stansbury was charged with Murder and booked into the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
The passing of Clarence Rosamore has left his family, friends, and those who loved him in profound sorrow. He is remembered as a kind, sincere, and affectionate individual — someone whose smile and compassionate nature could light up even the gloomiest days. His presence brought happiness to those around him, and his absence creates a void that cannot be filled by mere words.
This mindless act of violence has taken a cherished life far too early; however, Clarence’s spirit will persist through the fond memories, joy, and love he imparted to all who were lucky enough to know him.
The inquiry into this incident is still in progress. Anyone who may have information is encouraged to reach out to the Beaumont Police Department at (409) 832-1234 or to provide an anonymous tip via Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS (8477) or www.833TIPS.com.
May Clarence Rosamore find eternal peace — forever cherished, profoundly loved, and never to be forgotten.
