Corey Deangelo Davis Obituary, Death; Individual fatally injured in Pittsylvania County accident, authorities suspect alcohol involvement

 Corey Deangelo Davis Obituary, Death; – A man has lost his life following a solitary vehicle accident in Pittsylvania County on Thursday, according to reports from the Virginia State Police.

As per officials, the incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Level Run Road.

Law enforcement mentioned that a 2020 Chevrolet was traveling westbound on Level Run Road when it left the road’s left side, went down an embankment, and struck trees. 

The driver of the Chevrolet was later confirmed to be 36-year-old Corey Deangelo Davis, a resident of Altavista. Officials reported that Davis was not secured by a seatbelt and was taken to Centra Gretna Medical Center, where he was ultimately pronounced dead.

“Alcohol is believed to have contributed to the incident,” remarked the Virginia State Police.

The inquiry into the accident is still in progress, and no further details have been released.
