Darrina Dow: Digital Media Figure Darri Boss Killed at Tunapuna Tavern

 The lively community of social media users is reeling from the heartbreaking loss of Darrina Dow, a 30-year-old social media influencer better known as Darri Boss, who was tragically shot on Saturday night, November 8, 2025. Dow was killed at Strode’s Bar located on Maraj Street in Tunapuna while spending a relaxed evening playing cards with friends.

As per police accounts, around 10:30 p.m., a white AD Wagon (license plate PDX 3459) parked outside the establishment. A gunman, who was reportedly tall and clad in dark attire, stepped out of the vehicle and began firing at Dow. Eyewitnesses reported that the assailant hit Dow multiple times before swiftly escaping the scene in the same vehicle.

A passerby, along with Dow’s father, hurried the seriously injured woman to Mt. Hope Hospital; however, despite their attempts, medical staff declared her dead upon arrival at 11:25 p.m. Dow had suffered four gunshot injuries to her back.

Investigators from the North Central Division and Region II Homicide Bureau are looking into the homicide, gathering evidence from the crime scene and interviewing witnesses in an effort to find the shooter. The reason for the attack is still unknown, but law enforcement is handling the case with high priority.

Darrina Dow, recognized for her captivating online engagement and vibrant character, is being commemorated by family, friends, and followers as a cherished individual who brought joy to many. The community is now left to grieve her abrupt and senseless passing.
