At that tragic moment, his car struck a Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck, which was legally making a left turn while under a green signal. The force of the collision trapped the vehicle against the truck’s trailer, and although emergency responders arrived quickly, George unfortunately died at the scene. The semi-truck driver remained unharmed.
