Pa. — The Maidencreek community is grieving the unexpected death of John Edward Vincent Chabrol, 57, who died on Thursday, November 21, 2025, as a result of a single-vehicle accident in Leesport.
The Berks County Coroner’s Office noted that the incident took place around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Peach Street and South Centre Avenue. John’s car struck a utility pole, leaving him trapped and unresponsive within the vehicle. Emergency responders worked tirelessly to reach him, but sadly, he was declared dead at the scene.
John Chabrol had been a dedicated member of the Maidencreek Township community, fondly remembered for his kindness, dependability, and the significant connections he fostered with family, friends, and neighbors. His unexpected departure has created a significant loss, and the community offers sincere sympathies to everyone who knew and cherished him.
Currently, there are no plans for an autopsy, and additional information regarding the accident is scarce.
