The Birmingham community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 37-year-old Keiteria Almanique Anderson, who was killed in a hit-and-run incident early Thursday morning on Interstate 59/20 close to the Arkadelphia Road exit. The collision took place at 12:05 a.m., and emergency personnel declared Anderson dead at the scene at 12:35 a.m., as reported by Bill Yates, Chief Deputy Coroner of Jefferson County.
Keiteria, who lived in Birmingham her entire life, is fondly remembered by her family and friends for her lively spirit, her kindness, and the affection she extended to everyone she encountered. She was a person who impacted many lives, leaving behind lasting memories characterized by her compassion, selflessness, and steadfast support for those around her.
