 Madison Paddy-Jimmy Arrested – At the age of 25, Madison Paddy-Jimmy has been apprehended and accused of second-degree murder linked to a shocking triple murder occurring in rural Saskatchewan. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed that three individuals were discovered deceased at a location west of Turtleford on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Each of the three victims succumbed to gunshot injuries and are thought to have been intentionally targeted in a violent incident.




Authorities have made a direct connection between Paddy-Jimmy and the murder of Tonio Cantell, 28, from Island Lake First Nation. Cantell’s unfortunate death constitutes one of the three fatalities in this case, and the RCMP is still in the process of identifying the other two victims. Investigators have indicated that they do not suspect involvement from any additional individuals in the crime.

A resident of Thunderchild First Nation, Paddy-Jimmy was taken into custody on the day the bodies were found. She had her initial court session at the North Battleford provincial court on Friday, November 7, 2025, and remains in detention. Her next court date is scheduled for November 13, 2025, at the Lloydminster provincial court.

The RCMP is calling on anyone who might have information regarding the case or the victims to come forward. Though the reasons for the killings are still under investigation, authorities have characterized the events as exceptionally brutal and shocking to the local populace.

The triple murder has left the residents of Turtleford and the surrounding areas in shock.
