The community of Newberry County is in sorrow after a house fire occurred early Friday morning, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and leaving residents in shock and seeking answers. The incident took place on Windsong Hill Drive at approximately 6:30 a.m., when emergency services were alerted about a residence ablaze. Later identification from Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece confirmed the victims as 44-year-old April Nicole Sutton Long and 73-year-old Leroy Seegers, both from Silverstreet.
