The Long Harbour community is profoundly grieving the passing of Nichole Power, who left this world on November 22, 2025, at the age of 33. Nichole was a committed healthcare worker and flight attendant, and her existence was characterized by her dedication, kindness, and relentless support for others.

She devoted herself to her role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with NL Health Services, offering care and solace to patients and their families during some of life's most difficult times. Those who worked alongside her and those she cared for remember her for her expertise, compassion, and the welcoming nature she infused into every encounter.

In addition to her healthcare career, Nichole was a flight attendant with PAL Airlines, where her professionalism, calm nature, and warm personality were evident.

Whether in the air or on the ground, she consistently showed her commitment to assisting others, ensuring that both passengers and colleagues felt appreciated and cared for. Her dual professions reflected a life filled with intention, vigor, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others.

Above all, Nichole’s deepest happiness was her cherished daughter, Ellie Viola Catherine, who was the focal point of her life. Nichole dedicated herself to raising Ellie, making certain she was enveloped in love, warmth, and support.

Nichole also enjoyed a profound and affectionate relationship with Matty, who was there for her through both the happy and challenging moments in life. Her family included her devoted parents, Richard and Mary Power, her brother Richard (Kayla), as well as a large network of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will eternally hold her memory dear.

Nichole preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Griffin, Catherine, and Martin Power, along with other relatives, whose legacies she carried with dignity and pride.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to pay tribute at a visitation at Hickeys Funeral Home, located at 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Nichole’s life was distinguished by love, altruism, and a strong sense of accountability to others. Her influence reached far beyond her professional accomplishments—she left a positive mark on everyone she encountered, bringing happiness, laughter, and support to family, friends, colleagues, and the larger community.

Although her departure creates a significant gap, Nichole’s spirit, commitment, and the love she bestowed will continue to motivate all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered as a dedicated mother, partner, daughter, sister, and friend—a woman whose life, albeit tragically brief, was filled with kindness, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those she cherished.
