CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — The search for 19-year-old Latrell Creighton is ongoing in Chesterfield County, as he is still wanted related to a deadly shooting that resulted in the death of 20-year-old Omarion Bryant from Dinwiddie on October 4, 2025.
The Chesterfield County Police Department reported that officers were sent to the 20900 section of Third Avenue around 11:02 p.m. after they received notifications about an attack involving a dangerous weapon. Upon their arrival, they found Bryant with several gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to save his life, he was declared deceased at the scene.
After conducting the investigation, detectives pinpointed Creighton as the alleged shooter and secured a warrant for second-degree murder. Creighton is described as an African American male, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 165 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a prominent tattoo on the front of his neck. Authorities advise that he is to be considered armed and dangerous and caution anyone who spots him not to engage but to contact 911 immediately.
In the aftermath of the murder, law enforcement made two arrests related to the case. On October 6, Jalen Johnson from Prince George County was apprehended and charged as an accessory after the fact to homicide. He is currently being held without bail at the Chesterfield County Jail.
Additionally, authorities took into custody 39-year-old Cordarious Berry from Hopewell, who is identified as Creighton’s father. Berry faces charges for possessing a controlled substance classified as Schedule I or II and for having ammunition as a convicted felon. He is being held at Riverside Regional Jail due to a violation of probation.
Investigators suspect that Creighton might be receiving assistance to evade arrest and may have gone to Jackson, Tennessee, where he has relatives. Chesterfield Police are collaborating with law enforcement in Tennessee and seeking help from the public in both jurisdictions.
