Rob Faber Obituary News: Former Colleague of Blue Bear Restoration, Inc Rob Faber Has Died Suddenly

HILTON, N.Y — The community is grieving the passing of Rob Faber, a long-serving construction laborer and cherished friend, who was sadly killed in a vehicle accident while on the job in Hilton on Wednesday.

As reported by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the tragic event took place at the junction of Parma Center Road and Bailey Road. Faber was acting as a flagger, controlling traffic within a construction zone, when the accident occurred. He was rushed to a medical facility with severe injuries but unfortunately succumbed to his wounds later.

Friends of Faber characterize him as someone who genuinely cared for those around him. “I was in shock. I held onto hope and was praying everything would turn out fine,” shared Erik Basuk, a friend for over three decades. “He was the kind of person who would give you anything he had. It’s extremely heartbreaking to stand here and deliver this eulogy today.”

Chazz Dalberth, another close companion, recalled Faber as “a loyal friend to so many.” He continued, “He was my closest friend, and anyone you ask would say the same. He wanted to ensure that everyone in his life, especially his crew, was safe, secure, and looked after.”

The passing of Faber serves as a poignant reminder for motorists to reduce speed and give space to workers on the road. Basuk remarked, “He was simply fulfilling his duty and wished to return home for Thanksgiving with his mother. It’s incredibly tragic that someone took that away from his family.”

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has stated that the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have yet been made. Traffic at the intersection has since been allowed to resume.

Rob Faber will be remembered for his kindness, commitment, and the compassion he extended to everyone he encountered. His absence will be profoundly felt, but the legacy of his generosity and loyalty will continue in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
