 Spencer, Iowa — A tragic vehicular incident occurred near Spencer on Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Ryan Cundiff from Spencer and injuries to two others, including a small child.

As reported by the Iowa State Patrol, the accident took place at approximately 7:23 a.m. on County Road B24. Cundiff was operating a Chevrolet Traverse heading west when his vehicle veered over the center line, resulting in a frontal collision with an eastbound GMC Acadia.

Ryan Cundiff was declared dead at the site of the accident. A 5-year-old child from Spencer, who was a passenger in Cundiff’s automobile, along with the driver of the Acadia, a resident from Hartley, were taken to a nearby medical facility due to their injuries.
