SAN ANGELO, Texas — Officials have confirmed the passing of 56-year-old Tracy Danielle Daigle, who resided in Grape Creek, following a multi-vehicle accident in Tom Green County on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. This unfortunate event took place near the junction of U.S. Highway 87 and March Road at approximately 7:57 a.m., as reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS).
Initial findings reveal that Daigle was operating a Ford Focus in a southerly direction on March Road when she failed to adhere to a stop sign at the intersection. Her car was hit by a Ford Fusion traveling westward in the inside lane of U.S. 87. The collision led to the left rear tire of the Ford Focus becoming detached, which then collided with a Chevrolet Equinox that was proceeding west in the outer lane. Additionally, a Toyota pickup following the Equinox struck the rear of the Chevrolet when the driver was unable to manage their speed.
Sadly, Tracy Daigle was declared deceased at the site of the accident. Authorities observed that she was not secured with a seatbelt at the moment of the incident. A 33-year-old male from Carlsbad, who was driving the Ford Fusion, suffered minor injuries, whereas the operators of the Chevrolet Equinox and the Toyota pickup, both residents of San Angelo, escaped without injuries.
According to TxDPS, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry during the accident. This incident marks the second deadly crash in Tom Green County within the week of November 2, following the earlier death of Steven Lake Tucker, a 21-year-old from San Angelo, in a different accident on U.S. 87.
The communities of Grape Creek and Tom Green County are in mourning over the loss of Tracy Danielle Daigle, a cherished member of their community. Her family, friends, and neighbors are grappling with the sudden and heartbreaking void left by her passing, reflecting on her kindness, warmth, and meaningful presence in their lives.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and the Texas Department of Public Safety is reminding all motorists to adhere to traffic signals and drive cautiously to avoid similar incidents in the future.
