DUNEDIN, Fla. — The community of Dunedin is mourning the devastating loss of 15-year-old Viktor Rakaj, a student at Dunedin High School, who tragically died on Sunday following a bicycle accident on October 22 at the intersection of New York Avenue and Main Street.
According to reports from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Viktor was heading north on New York Avenue when he was hit by a 2024 Hyundai Elantra operated by a 16-year-old who was traveling east on Main Street. Emergency personnel rushed Viktor to a local hospital with serious injuries, but he ultimately did not survive.
