According to a news release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched on June 21 to a desert region near the 17000 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard by Sloan, where they found a man with obvious gunshot injuries. This discovery triggered a homicide investigation.
