The devastating loss of Adam Ross Sklar, who departed on December 9, 2025, has caused deep sorrow within the Chalfont community, The Next Step Programs family, and the Philadelphia Eagles Game Day Staff for a truly remarkable individual. Adam was not only a participant, friend, and supporter—he embodied joy, vitality, and kindness, and his presence brought life to every environment he frequented. His absence creates a gap that is hard to express in words.
Adam possessed a special ability. He could brighten any atmosphere just by entering it. Anyone fortunate enough to be in his company understood they were in for endless laughter, insightful sports discussions, unforgettable humor, and a sense of camaraderie that was uniquely Adam’s. He was clever, insightful, gifted, and steadfastly loyal to those he cherished. His charisma, wit, and genuine nature made him beloved and held in high esteem by everyone who knew him.
Within The Next Step Programs, Adam shone brightly. He enhanced the community's warmth, friendliness, and overall quality simply by being who he was. His life exemplified resilience, hope, and potential. Adam confronted barriers with bravery and resolve, consistently showcasing what individuals with disabilities can achieve when empowered and motivated to succeed. He embraced each moment with joy, appreciation, and a contagious smile that encouraged everyone around him.
Adam’s influence reached well beyond TNS. To the Eagles Game Day Staff, he represented more than just a coworker—he was part of their family. His passion for the sport and his lively demeanor united people, serving as a reminder that there are aspects of life that transcend football.
He is survived by a family that loved him profoundly: his parents, Mitchell and Staci (née Perchick) Sklar; his brothers, Joshua and Garrett; his grandparents, other relatives, and numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones who will always carry the mark of his generous spirit. Despite the obstacles he encountered, Adam approached them with optimism and bravery, transforming the concept of living a full and meaningful life.
As family and friends come together for the funeral services at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors on December 11, and as shiva is observed in his memory, may Adam’s legacy continue to serve as a source of inspiration. May those who cared for him find solace in recognizing that he will endure in every life he impacted, every heart he touched, and every smile he ignited.
Soar high, Adam. You will be profoundly missed—and never forgotten.
