 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of Brett Hemphill from New Brunswick, who passed away at 31 after experiencing a serious seizure. The unexpected departure of Brett has profoundly affected the lives of his loved ones, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him. As a committed field service technician, Brett was recognized for his exceptional dedication to work, dependability, and the pride he derived from performing his duties effectively.

For the last three years, Brett battled epilepsy with incredible bravery, resilience, and determination. Even though his family shared numerous hardships by his side, his unexpected death has created an unimaginable absence. Despite his health challenges, Brett refused to let his condition determine who he was. He opted to embrace life fully, love deeply, and be present for those who mattered most to him.

First and foremost, Brett was a loving son, partner, father, and family man. His devotion to his children and family was passionate and steadfast. He brought considerable joy and pride to his family, particularly in his role as his father's "Bampy," a title he wore with great love and appreciation. Brett's courage, humor, and quiet resolve left a significant impact on all who met him.
