Brett James Campaigne, a musician, lyricist, and ensemble participant from Nova Scotia, has passed away.

 It is with great sorrow that we share the news of Brett James Campaigne's passing, a beloved singer, songwriter, and integral part of the Halifax, Nova Scotia community, who left us on December 31, 2025. Brett’s lively personality, kindness, and profound love for music affected the lives of everyone around him, creating an enduring influence on family, friends, fellow artists, coworkers, and café visitors.



Brett was well-loved for his friendliness, charm, and his knack for infusing happiness into daily life. Many reminisce about mornings spent at his café, where his inviting smile and carefully chosen playlists, often driven by his whimsical guideline of “Bangers Only!” enhanced the atmosphere. To Brett, music was not merely a passion; it was a way for him to engage with the world and the people in it.

In addition to his love for music and coffee, Brett possessed an exceptional talent for forming authentic connections with others. He genuinely cared about those around him, always willing to listen, share a laugh, and provide encouragement.
