Murder Suicide Mercer Island, Two Individuals Discovered Deceased within an Issaquah Residence

 Mercer Island law enforcement arrived around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday to perform a wellness check at a house located in the 8400 area of South 46th Street. When they got there, officers noticed a body visible through a window and entered the residence, where they found two individuals who had passed away.

The deceased have been identified as a female in her 70s and a male in his 40s. Officials indicate that both individuals succumbed to gunshot injuries. Investigators suspect that the situation might have involved a murder-suicide, although additional details have not been disclosed as the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are encouraging anyone with pertinent information about the incident to come forward.
