Peyton Bilbia Homicide Milford, MI Fatality, Tribute: Payton Sadly Departed at 26

 It is with great sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Peyton Michael Bilbia, age 26, from Milford, who originally hailed from Grand Blanc, on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The absence of Peyton creates a significant and enduring emptiness in the lives of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of encountering his generous and friendly nature.



Peyton was born on March 7, 1999, in Pontiac, Michigan, as the cherished child of Mathew M. and Abbie M. (Lahr) Bilbia. He completed his education at Holly High School in 2017 and furthered his studies at The University of Michigan-Flint. Having recently relocated to Milford from Grand Blanc, Peyton was employed with D.E. McNabb Flooring in New Hudson.

Peyton approached life with enthusiasm, zeal, and a big-hearted demeanor. He enjoyed engaging in fitness activities, riding mountain bikes, watching films and listening to music, as well as supporting the University of Michigan’s football team. His affection for his dogs and family showcased his nurturing and empathetic characteristics. Recognized for his gentle spirit and generous heart, Peyton spread happiness among those in his circle, and his legacy will be treasured by all who knew him.

He is survived by his caring parents, Mathew and Abbie Bilbia from Grand Blanc; his sisters, Makayla Bilbia residing in Grand Rapids and Ella Bilbia from Grand Blanc; his grandparents, Craig and Deborah Lahr from Waterford and Karen and Kevin Kasper from Albion; his uncle, Kevin (Randielle) Bilbia from Bruce Township and Scott Lahr from Waterford; his aunt, April Lahr from Milford; along with many cousins. Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Craig Bilbia.

A memorial service to celebrate Peyton’s life is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 11:00 AM until the service begins. The service will also be broadcast live, accessible from Peyton’s obituary page on www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.

Instead of flowers, donations may be directed to The Humane Society – Genesee County at G-3325 S. Dort Hwy, Burton, MI 48529, in honor of Peyton’s fondness for animals.

Peyton Michael Bilbia will be profoundly missed, eternally cherished, and warmly remembered. His kindness, laughter, and commitment to his family and friends create an enduring legacy that will always be remembered.
