ARDMORE, Okla. — The Ardmore community is mourning the tragic and untimely passing of 19-year-old Lani Hicks, killed late Saturday evening in a horrific collision on Interstate 35.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) estimates the event happened around 11:30 p.m. nearby the Davis and Sulphur region in Murray County. Reportedly falling from the moving automobile, Hicks, who was seated in the front passenger seat of one driving along I-35, died. Five people were said to be inside the car at the time of the accident.
