Enrique Rodriguez Sabas Obituary News: Three Apopka Teenagers Died in Rollover Accident

 APOPKA, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol has released the identities of three teens who sadly died in a rollover accident on the morning of November 9, 2025, in Apopka.




The deceased were identified as 17-year-old Enrique Rodriguez Sabas, 17-year-old Julio Lopez, and 13-year-old Leyner Velasquez. This incident involving one vehicle took place around 1:35 a.m. close to the junction of E. Welch Road and Wekiwa Drive.

As per the FHP, the young individuals were passengers in a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, which had a total of six boys aged 13 to 17 on board. The pickup was heading east on E. Welch Road when the driver lost control while approaching a curve. The truck left the road, collided with a tree, and rolled over.

The driver, who is also 17 years old, along with two other passengers aged 14 and 15, were taken to the hospital with injuries described as “serious but not life-threatening.” Tragically, Rodriguez Sabas, Lopez, and Velasquez suffered fatal injuries and were declared dead at the scene.

Authorities have observed that only two of the six individuals in the vehicle were buckled up at the time of the incident. The Florida Highway Patrol is actively looking into the details surrounding the accident.
